HDF Energy, an independent French power producer at the glance of the industry, specialized in non-intermittent energy generation from renewables and electricity storage, is pleased to announce its launch in the Italian market.
HDF Energy is now developing projects in Sardinia, with the Renewstable® Sardidrogeno as the first project in the pipeline. Renewstable® Sardidrogeno will produce firm and stable electricity from a combination of solar panels and hydrogen chain. In addition to green electricity, Renewstable® Sardidrogeno will provide green local hydrogen to the nearest industrial actors.

Renewstable® Sardidrogeno is in line with the need of increasing ENR in the energy mix and developing energy independency of territories while maintaining the grid stability. HDF will take part to the regional Sardinia’s call for project about hydrogen (following the Bando nazionale del Mite per il riuso delle aree dismesse) and designed two preliminaries power plant to this effect.
To this effect, HDF way is to develop its powerplant with local companies and consortium, with Sardinians, for Sardinians.
